Tight-woven webbing that will not stretch when wet, bar-tacked at every stress point rather than simply stitched through. It dries fast, takes mud without staining, and the buckle is cast metal, not moulded plastic.
Measured round the chest, behind the front legs.
A harness is sized on the girth, not the neck. Run a tape round the deepest part of the chest, just behind the front legs, and allow two fingers of slack.
How do I choose a size?
Measure around the base of your dog’s neck and allow two fingers’ slack. Between two sizes, size up — the buckle takes up the difference.
