After years of buying pet accessories that fell apart, looked cheap, or just felt wrong — we decided the problem wasn't about budget. It was about expectation. The pet industry had settled for "good enough" for too long.
We wanted collars made from the same Italian leather as the bags we saved up for. Beds with the same care for support as the mattresses we spent on ourselves. Bowls that looked like they belonged in the home — not hidden in a corner because they were ugly.
So we spent two years developing relationships with small-batch suppliers and artisans across Australia, Italy and Portugal. We tested products on our own dogs. We rejected more than we kept. In 2023, PAWD launched — and we haven't looked back.
